Doctors for Iraq - Australian Tour
Dr Salam Ismael is a doctor from Iraq who came to the second People's Health Assembly in Ecuador. Dr Salam made a huge impression on those present. Some PHM activists were involved in helping bring Dr Salam to speak in Australia. Professor Fran Baum, WHO Commissioner on the Social Determinants of Health and PHM activist from South Australia coauthored an article in the Public Health Association of Australia's newsletter about one of Dr Salam's presentations. Launch of the Global Health Watch
Following the release of the Global Health Watch in Cuenca Ecuador during the second People's Health Assembly, Professors Fran Baum and Gavin Mooney launched the alternative world health report in Perth on Monday 26 September. Read more

PHM launches UNICEF WATCH
Berkeley, Bangalore and Manila; 28 April 05: The newly appointed chief of UNICEF has come under heavy criticism from health activists worldwide. PHM is launching a "UNICEF WATCH" to monitor the new director's 'anti-children' activities and thus defend UNICEF and the rights of children. Read more
Community Health Links Project
PHM Australia is developing a Community Health Links Project to partner Community Health Centres in Australia to brother/sister organisations in the majority world. Read more
