Special Welcome to MPH students from People's Health Movement Australia

The People's Health Movement Australia (PHM) invites international and other students to a morning tea and introduction to PHM on Thursday 8 March. We will give short presentations about PHM including from some former international students as well as local students and lecturers. We look forward to discussions with you about the public health concerns in your countries.

The People's Health Movement (PHM) is a global coalition of grassroots and health activist organisations dedicated to addressing the burden of preventable disease globally but in particular that carried by developing countries. The goal of the People's Health Movement is to re-establish health and equitable development as top priorities in local, national and international policy-making with comprehensive primary health care as a key strategy to achieve these priorities. We have an active group of health professionals and students in Victoria who meet once a month in the evening.
