The [http://phmovement.org People's Health Movement] was established in 2000 following the [http://phmovement.org/pha1 first People's Health Assembly] in Bangladesh. The PHM Circle on Trade and Health was proposed at the [http://phmovement.org/pha2 second People's Health Assembly] held in July 2005 in Cuenca, Ecuador.
